Scripted Events are something like mini-movies played through the game's engine and encountered here and there while exploring the world. These events usually show NPCs speaking or carrying out some other action or monsters plotting or taunting the player in special fashion. Scripted events relate the game plot, or just add some details to an ongoing quest.
