Berserker State is passive, it becomes activated from the moment you spend a skill point into it. This skill really gives a sense of being filled with fury and is a good choice for Barbarians who either want to increase their attack speed due to a slow weapon or to become faster than they currently are. Also, the movement speed will help catch fast enemies or give you a better chance to avoid projectiles.
It may be hard to see if Berserker State activated ([[proc]]ed), so a visual indicator may be required.
