The character window in Diablo 3 is merged with the actual in-game interface window that opens when you hit the "C" key. It shows Inventory and Paper Doll display, providing a quick and convenient view of your character's name equipment and class, along with all of their essential stats; in one location. A mini-window is shown beside the attributespaperdoll, resistances, damage, armor, with a "Details" button to/hit, expand a comprehensive list of dozens of character stats and much morevalues.

==Character Window Evolution== The older photos on this page are from shaky cam videos character window evolved continuously during the game's development, with a total remodel taking place during the beta test and photos taken of monitors at various eventsadditional figures being added to the display post-release. Though it's undergone numerous tweaks, the character window has always listed the attributes, resistances, damage, armor, since Blizzard did not release and other essential stats.  The final game version shows a miniature window as part of the Inventory window. When players click the "Details" button the full quality image list of stats for Offensive, Defensive, Life, opens up beside the Character window during development, and can be scrolled down to see every relevant figure. (Though other interface windows were frequently displayedThis information display is quite comprehensive and though a bit eye-glazing for new players, the information shown therein is very useful once players know what to do with it.)
Though itDiablo 3's undergone numerous tweakscharacter window shows a great deal more information than players saw in Diablo 2, and the basic form of the character window has changed little during stats and figures displayed by the gameare [[black weapons|'s development. It'almost) entirely correct, which was very not the case with Diablo 2's always listed the attributes, resistances, damage, armor, and other essential stats. The presentation has evolved, and continues to do so, but the content is fairly set-called LCS "Lying Character Screen".
Note that there's a lot more info than there was in Diablo II, and that the numbers go to decimal places, presenting the information in far more detail than in earlier games in the series. This window can expand greatly to show more detailed stats on another pane to the right, and that info remains under selection.
