The [[Unbound Bolt]] is a crafted [[legendary bow]] that can only be created in Reaper of Souls. This After patch 2.0.6 this item no longer requires a [[Shimmering Quill]], one of the or any other [[legendary materials]], to craft.
To create this item, find the [[Plan: Unbound Bolt]], which can be randomly dropped randomly by any level 70 target, and teach the plan to the [[Blacksmith]]. Once learned by the smith, any character on your account can make as many of these as you can afford to create, though like all bows, it's best suited to a Demon Hunter.

The required legendary material, [[Shimmering Quill]] can only be found from a Unique (purple) [[Quill Fiend]]. These are rare sights, never fingered as [bounties]] and thus the only practical way to farm this material is to check the cellars along the road to Old Tristram.
