Captain Daltyn, "Former Captain of the Guard", is a Superunique Risen found in The Hidden Cellar under Adria's Hut. He forms part of the The Legacy of Cain quest.
He was once a member of the Tristram Militia, along with Captain Rumford, when he failed to return from a scouting expedition. He was headed towards The Old Ruins of Old Tristram, and never returned. Well, never returned to Tristram, at least. The Captain has a Frozen attack whereby he lays frozen grenades that will explode after a few seconds causing damage and freezing players for a few seconds.
